Auto Screen Rotate/G-Sensor Issue in Windows 10 Tablet

So you just update your windows tablet from Windows 8/8.1 to windows 10. And you didn’t find Auto Screen Rotate option in Windows 10.

The same issue I was facing from once I update Windows 10. first I thought Windows 10 doesn’t support Auto Rotate Screen. So, I use it around 4 month. But one day I found a Video of Unboxing windows tablet and it has the Auto Screen Rotate feature. So I start finding solution for my tablet “iBall Slide WQ32”. I tried many drivers but some drivers work and some not. and the working drivers work weird It work like I hold tablet horizontal but screen rotate to vertical. I was completely shocked by its behavior. So I start my R&D in registry and the final solution I found is described here.

Follow this steps but let me clear one thing I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY KIND OF SYSTEM DAMAGE.

  1. Download KIONIXdriver from this URL: https://www.kionix.com/downloads
    (select KXTJ9-KXCJ9-KXTJ2 Driver for Windows 7/8/10)
  2. Extract it and install. if you are on 64bit then install x64 driver else x86.
  3. Restart your tablet.
  4. Now go to Setting > System > Display > you will see a new option there “Lock Auto Rotate Screen” so turn it off.

Now you have 3 conditions there

  1. Your screen rotation will work fine on all Degree.
  2. Your screen will rotate upside down
  3. Your screen will rotate 1 Step next. E.g. You hold your tablet at Horizontal but it rotate vertical.

To prevent this issue you have to got Registry.
How to go to Registry?
Tap and hold on Start icon at bottom left you will see menu. In that menu you will see option “Run” tap on that.
A box will appear now type on that box “regedit”. Hit enter or tap on OK.
Now a register editor will open. Now go to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SYSTEM > CurrentControlSet > Enum > ROOT > SENSOR > 0000 > Device Parameters > kxfusion

So the path will be :

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\ROOT\SENSOR\0000\Device Parameters\kxfusion

if you are tech geek and know about HEX value then hit and try Orientation value

But always remember after modifying anything in registry you have to RESTART your system.
